Avery's 4th Birthday

Today was Avery's 4th birthday. Her theme was Rugrats. This show does not run new episodes because it is from the 90's so Brian got on Ebay and found some party stuff. We had Avery's favorite dinner: Penne pasta with red and white sauce and salad. (We were supposed to have garlic bread but I forgot!!) Then she opened her presents and got tons of cool stuff. Babies and puppies and a whole bunch of cool clothes both dress up and regular. Then we sang to the birthday girl. The kids decorated their own cupcakes. The adults enjoyed cake and ice cream. She said it was the best birthday ever!

Wind Storm

We had a really bad wind storm this weekend. I guess it was left over winds from the Hurricanes. Winds were 50-60 mph. We were coming home from church and two trees were down on our road. Some nice neighbors were out with their chainsaws cutting them up, so Bryce and I got out and helped them clear the road. Once I got home I saw this tree down in our yard. There was debris everywhere in the front and back yard. We did not have school on Monday so I had a couple of helpers help me clean up. We only got the front and side yard done before Mommy and Bryce had to go in and rest. Hopefully we will be able to clean the rest up before Avery's party on Saturday.

Peyton's Cub Scout Debut

On Saturday Peyton was in the Lanesville Heritage Parade as a cub scout. He looked so handsome! He is having a lot of fun learning all of the cub scout traditions.

Avery the soccer star

Last Saturday Avery had her first soccer game. No more sitting on the sidelines watching Peyton do everything! She did a great job! She is on a team of 4 and 5 year olds and she will not be four until this Saturday. We think she did a great job. She even got a goal! As long as it is not hot she is into the game. As soon as that sun comes out she gets tired quick!
